Help
If something is not working, the answer is probably here. How buying works before you buy is in the questions.
A film will not play
Sign in with the account that bought it. A film is yours on your account, so on a new phone, tablet or browser, sign in first — everything you own is in your library.
Give it a moment. A film starts in full quality; if your connection cannot keep up, the player moves by itself to a stream that adjusts to it, at the same moment in the film.
Choose the quality yourself: the player’s menu offers full quality, Auto and the sizes the film has. On an iPhone or iPad the film plays in Apple’s own player, which chooses for you.
Still nothing? Try another browser — and if it will not play properly anywhere, write to us. A film that will not play is refunded; that is your right.
Downloads
From your library: press the download button beside the film, as often as you like. Each press makes an address that works for one hour, so start the download then.
The file is a plain MP4 with no copy protection — it plays in any video player, on anything.
A film that has only just gone up can take a little while before its download is ready; the library says so when it is not.
Paying
A feature is £8 and a short £2; members pay half. You pay by card, through Stripe, and your receipt comes by email. We sell in the UK only, for now.
For the member price, be signed in when you buy — an address typed at the checkout cannot tell us who you are.
Credit from Bring a friend comes off a film like money.
Your account
Forgotten your password? We will email you a link to set a new one. To change it while signed in, use Your password on your account.
Films missing? Check you are signed in with the email address you bought with. A film bought while signed out goes to the address typed at the checkout.
Membership
£10 a month or £100 a year: half price on every film you buy. It opens no film by itself.
Cancel any time: Manage billing on your account, in Stripe’s own page. When it ends, nothing you bought changes — only the price of the next film.
Refunds
A film you bought but have not watched or downloaded: ask within 14 days. One that will not play properly: always. A membership that has just renewed, with nothing watched since: ask. The terms have the rest.
Bring a friend
Your link and its QR code are at the top of your account. When somebody you send becomes a member, 20% of every membership payment they make comes to you as credit, for as long as they stay — memberships only, and credit, never cash.
For filmmakers
Payouts: set them up with Stripe once, from your page — Stripe keeps your bank details; we never see them. Each sale’s share goes into your balance the day it sells, a month’s earnings become yours to withdraw on the 1st of the month after next, and from then you take any amount, any day.
Stripe’s payout fee is 0.25% + 10p, and £2 more for your first payout in a calendar month. It is Stripe’s, not ours: Cyberpunk Studios makes nothing from your withdrawal.
Your statement, line by line, is on your page. For anything about a film of yours — its words, its rating, its pictures — write to us.
